Minds of Moidart: Peer-to-Peer Leadership Retreat on Private Scottish Island

'Minds of Moidart' is a four-day immersive experience on the beautiful island of Eilean Shona, nestled in Loch Moidart, West Scotland.

This adventure is an opportunity to forge connections with like-minded progressive leaders dedicated to navigating the transition to sustainable business. Immerse yourself in the company of fellow leaders and changemakers, sharing knowledge, skills, and experiences and grant yourself the headspace needed to plan and shape your personal legacy for 2024 and beyond.

About you:

We're looking for the great minds of today: change makers, disruptors and business leaders who challenge the status quo, who contribute meaningfully and who can also listen, learn and foster nuanced perspectives.

This call is for adventurous souls who want to infuse more nature into their lives. If you’re the type who won’t mind a yomp for a few hours to be rewarded by a steaming cup of 'Cock-a-Leekie' soup or who can can roll up their sleeves and lug a lobster pot out of the Loch, or burrow in the ground foraging for Chanterelles, then you’re precisely a soul we’re looking for.

About the retreat:

You'll leave London on Monday morning, travelling by train to Glasgow where we'll pick you up and drive you a few hours north to the shores of Loch Moidart. Here, we'll be met by the island team who take us on a private boat across the loch to Eilean Shona - your home for the next three nights. There'll be enough light left in the day for a guided orientation walk, followed by welcome drinks and a delicious, chef-cooked dinner, over which you'll get to know your peers.

Over the next three days, you will have the space to connect with nature, learn new skills and engage deeply with fellow leaders. Your days are balanced between curated group activities led by local experts such as kayaking, foraging and nature walks; workshops and discussions around the island over over hearty feasts and roaring fires on climate and nature solutions; and free time to relax and immerse yourself in the environment (including the option for an icy cold dip in Loch Moidart!).

At the end of your three days, with new relationships, perspectives and inspiration developed, you take the evening Caledonian Sleeper Train that lulls you to sleep as it bumbles through the countryside, arriving back in London the following morning at 8am, in time for work or the start of your weekend.
