A book launch for Gamechangers, celebrating 15 CEOs and world-class leaders making sustainability work in the real world, held at Zaha Hadid's iconic Havenhuis building at the Port of Antwerp-Bruges. An invite-only evening bringing together 120 guests and speakers from Virgin Unite, VITO, Commensalist, Faircado, and the Port of Antwerp itself.

The challenge: take over all speaker coordination from the event organisers, ensure four high-profile panellists from across Europe arrived briefed, relaxed, and ready, then host the full evening and moderate one of the sessions.

From the first intro email, I handled every element of speaker logistics: 1-2-1 briefing calls, a one-stop-shop briefing page, liaison with wider teams, and a WhatsApp group to build camaraderie before the day. A key part of my process is surfacing each speaker's key messages and sharing them across the group — which keeps everyone connected even when a group briefing call isn't possible.

On the night, I hosted the full evening and moderated a panel discussion that drew out honest, personal answers from leaders who don't often share them publicly.

The invisible touches mattered too: building rapport with guests, keeping them involved, capturing a group photo, and making sure every speaker left with pictures of themselves on stage. Post-event, all the thank-yous were handled. And being a super connector, I spotted an introduction between one of the speaker's teams and someone in my network.
