Mansion House Day Event Production

The year E3G's flagship forum stopped being an event and became a hub: six events, seven partner organisations and eleven hours of diplomacy, politics and energy in one building, on a £103k budget.

For two years the State of Climate Politics Forum was a single event. In 2026, E3G took over the whole of Mansion House for the day and built a programme around it creation a day of convening for diplomacy, politics and energy.

The DisCom team coordinated six events that between 09:00 and 20:00.

• HM Government opened with the Global Clean Power Alliance Finance Mission.

• E3G's State of Climate Politics Forum took the morning.

• ETES took the afternoon across three formats.

• GLOBE Legislators ran the inaugural Nigerian Climate Investment Summit

• The Green Grids Initiative held its Coordinating Council

• E3G closed the day with a reception hosted with LinkedIn

The Work:

• One run of show for the whole building rather than six separate ones, across three floors, with every guest arriving through the same front door

• Holding seven organisations to one schedule. E3G, HM Government, the Global Renewables Alliance, the We Mean Business Coalition, GLOBE Legislators, the Green Grids Initiative and LinkedIn were not one team. They were seven sets of priorities sharing an address for a day, and somebody had to be the single point of truth on timings, rooms and access

• Designing access and movement so that closed doors stayed closed. Different guests had rights to different rooms, and from 16:15 three events were live at once with a serving head of state and the UN Secretary General in the building

• Owning the day's budget of £103k, of which partners funded 89%. I tracked spend across all six events and made the case for the lines that get cut first and felt most.

• Turning the rooms over between events, six resets of layout, AV, catering and access inside eleven hours
